I'm a software engineer, I've been writing code since 2007.

Having struggled with mental illness which left me hospitalized in 2011 for which I achieved a remission diagnosis in 2021, I think deeply about life and what it means to be productive. I write about software, team development, and psychology.

I am a a self-taught computer programmer, with a strong love of traditional engineering principals. I use the term "Tradition" because to me, there was immense value before Object Oriented Programming gave the impression that analogies in the physical world are an effective way to think through nth-dimensional spaces.
